Portrait of Clara (as a chemist)
3 weeks ago
Meanwhile the mind, from pleasure less,
Withdraws into its happiness:
The mind, that ocean where each kind
Does straight its own resemblance find;
Yet it creates, transcending these,
Far other worlds, and other seas;
Annihilating all that's made
To a green thought in a green shade.
Andrew Marvell, "The Garden" 41-48

I guess both congratulations and condolences are in order. I'm sorry it has to be so hard.
What Squadratomagico said. Congrats, and I hope there are travel funds.
Isn't Neruda just the fanciest? And yes, you need travel funds.
Will he settle in one country, or travel all over? And yes indeed, I hope it involves frequent trips for Mrs. Neruda!
