Portrait of Clara (as a chemist)

Meanwhile the mind, from pleasure less,
Withdraws into its happiness:
The mind, that ocean where each kind
Does straight its own resemblance find;
Yet it creates, transcending these,
Far other worlds, and other seas;
Annihilating all that's made
To a green thought in a green shade.
Andrew Marvell, "The Garden" 41-48

Nice work. We have some grapes that need the same treatment. Ditto the apples. Onward.
I just made gallons of chowder out of all the striped bass I caught and froze over the summer. I love a
chest freezer.
