Portrait of Clara (as a chemist)

Meanwhile the mind, from pleasure less,
Withdraws into its happiness:
The mind, that ocean where each kind
Does straight its own resemblance find;
Yet it creates, transcending these,
Far other worlds, and other seas;
Annihilating all that's made
To a green thought in a green shade.

Yikes!
They think it's all just like ... an imaginary TV job in which you don't actually have to you know, work.
(p.s. my word verification? "stanked." As in, "for real, that student's question, it just stanked the hell out of my office."
That is priceless. Perhaps that will be the second t-shirt I print after "It's on the syllabus."
In retrospect, that really does have to inspire a smile or a chuckle within you, doesn't it? :)
Retrospect? Hell, I chuckled right then.
