From the spider and the soldier, and their mother.

Meanwhile the mind, from pleasure less,
Withdraws into its happiness:
The mind, that ocean where each kind
Does straight its own resemblance find;
Yet it creates, transcending these,
Far other worlds, and other seas;
Annihilating all that's made
To a green thought in a green shade.

Wait. . . are those camels the background? This is shaping up to be one strange Halloween.
(But your Things are, as always, adorable.)
dang cute!
That's not a camel. It's my costume.
I take Halloween very seriously.
I like that the soldier is being as monster-scary as the spider. A (frightening) pacifist, that boy'll grow up to be.
Congratulations on beautiful children. And you make an excellent camel.
Thing 2 makes a lovely spider, but I have to say that "half a cucumber and half a tomato" remains my all-time favorite Halloween costume.
